The Hollybush Inn is a hidden gem! The on-site Chinese takeaway, The Water Margin, was an absolute highlight—perfect for late-night cravings. the good ol’ pub vibe made for a cozy evening with reasonable drink prices. Loved it!
Just wish there was a bigger mirror. only one in the bathroom meant a bit of a dance while doing my hair. hot taps would be a win over push-timers.

The building is beautifully maintained, nestled in a charming village. The welcoming hosts ensured a pleasant experience, and the continental breakfast offered a delightful range of options. The on-site Chinese takeaway was a highlight, serving excellent food. service speed during dinner was notably slow, with an hour wait for food, and the menu was limited, primarily featuring ice cream for dessert.

Charming historical setting, locally sourced products, quality local ales
A larger mirror would facilitate getting ready more comfortably!!! It would be nice to have more traditional pub food options instead of relying solely on the Chinese takeaway!!!

Great food and friendly vibes
Awesome spot with a cozy bar/lounge area! The food was delish – their burgers are a must-try, especially the french onion one with brie. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. Only thing was the place felt a tad worn out, but the atmosphere and service totally made up for it.

Had a delightful stay in a cozy double room with an ensuite. It felt super homey and was decorated with care. Plus, the location was stunning, making it a lovely getaway.
But good heavens, those stairs would make a mountain climber weep! And the pub noise? Let’s just say I became quite adept at ignoring distractions.

Charming old building with a rustic pub atmosphere. Nice touch of being pet friendly, which is always a plus for traveling companions like dogs.
The experience was marred by loud live music that shook the room, making it hard to relax. Limited meal options, with takeaway being the only choice on-site. The bathroom had some mold around the bath and the cleanliness of the kitchen could definitely use improvement, especially in terms of how breakfast items were presented.
